Uluwatu this morning the condition of the waves is smaller than yesterday, the weather is sunny and a little wind. Only three surfers in the watter, very good condition and still fun wave.
Today is one of the biggest days of the year so far. We went to Bingin but was out of control with no one out. Padang Padang was the spot today, otherwise known as the Balinese pipeline. Bigger the swell gets, the better the wave quality. As you can see from the photos, absolutely firing today, and lots of barrels to be had.
A large new swell was forecast for today, so we decided to do dawn patrol Dreamland. Only 2 of us out in the water on the A frame early, with some solid double overhead sets. The left was mostly breaking too fast, but there were some fun right handers, and if you picked the right one, it would go all the way to the beach. The mini lockdown seems to be over and seems all surf breaks are now open again. This is good news for bukit surfers, as the Canggu crowd seem to have gone back to Canggu. Late morning a few more people paddled out but was very quiet at Dreamland. Swell is forecast to be massive this afternoon, and big all week

As the tide fills the crest, it starts to work, and the waves that form push it double overhead. Offshore winds are light and sunny again, which is what we like.

Today the waves at Uluwatu are very small, the sets come only every 30 minutes, not many waves come and almost flat.The weather is very sunny and there is no wind, not many surfers in the water. If you want to get more waves, we recommend surfing at nyang nyang beach.
