Intermediate Surf Lessons At Toro Toro ★★★★★
Toro-Toro turned on early today, though the wind filled in before sunrise had fully settled. Conditions stayed fun regardless — steep lefts offered up two or three solid turns apiece, while the rights kept running long for anyone who could make that first section. The crew traded waves steadily through the wind, keeping the stoke high all morning.
Toro-Toro remains the surf camp’s favourite wave for good reason. The reef sets up an easy takeoff with a deep channel on both sides for a quick paddle back, and even with some texture on the face today, the rights held their shape well down the line — proof this wave can still deliver when the wind isn’t cooperating.
