It was a lovely morning at Toro-Toro, with the swell finally backing off enough for a fun, relaxed session. Both lefts and rights were working — the lefts shorter and more intense, the rights running longer down the reef, with a few surfers linking multiple rights together for a long ride.

Dry season usually brings bigger, more powerful swell that suits heavier reefs like Uluwatu or Airport Right better than Toro-Toro. A quieter swell like today’s is an opportunity — the size drops into Toro-Toro’s sweet spot, and the wave gets to show the long, playful character that makes it the camp’s favourite.
