Advanced Surf Guiding at Impossible

The alarm this morning rang at 5:20 and at 5:50 we were paddling out at impossible. The swell dropped overnight, but the condition were perfect clean and overhead. The waves today offered super long fast rides with occasionally barrels with very light offshore winds. The swell is still consistent, the tide was perfect and we really enjoyed our session with only 3 people in the water.

Advanced Surf Guiding at Padang Padang

Swell is pumping here today and barrels galore at Padang Padang, the premium barreling wave, also known as the Balinese pipeline. Just 10 people out is incredible for this wave as normally packed with local and traveling surfers. Very very consistent waves today and more than enough barrels for everyone.

Advanced surf guiding at Airport Left

Swell was much smaller than expected this morning so we didn’t get to surf Toro Toro. We motored over to Airport Lefts and it was surprisingly empty. A few guys out at Middle reef which looked temptingly good, but we chose the spot with no surfers. Was great fun and a perfect start to the day.

Very quiet for the first hour and then the crowds slowly built. A few of the local pros came out and demonstrated how to make the most of the perfect surfing conditions.
