Beginner Surf Lessons at Padang Padang

The surf at Padang Padang was great this morning with glassy conditions due to almost no wind. When surfing perfectly shaped and glassy waves, the feeling is amazing. It is almost as if you would be surfing on a cloud. A feeling you don’t get anywhere else.

The swell is still big and the conditions are a little more challenging than usual for our beginner surfers. Nevertheless, with our professional surf instructors, everyone stays safe in the water and will have a good time and when you catch waves it is even more exciting. We expect the swell to pick up a little tomorrow before it goes smaller at the beginning of next week.

Beginner Surf Lessons at Padang Padang

The waves were amazing this morning at Padang Padang! Long, clean right-handers and only a few other people out. It wasn’t big but the sets had enough power and due to the mid-tide, the waves were breaking in a perfect shape.

Today and tomorrow, the swell stays pretty much the same size, but from Thursday, we expect the new swell to arrive and Uluwatu and Padang Padang will be on fire. Other spots like Toro Toro or Airport Rights will be our go-to places for our advanced groups and Jimbaran for our beginner and intermediate surfers. No matter if small or big waves, low or high tide, we also find the right spot for your surfing level.

Intermediate surf guiding at Padang Padang

Another great session at Padang Padang for our beginner group! The waves were super fun the whole morning and everyone got long rides. The size of the swell was just right to feel the power of the waves and speed after popping up on the board.

With the right technique and turns, we were able to surf the waves until they disappeared close to the beach. These conditions are perfect to practice turning and trimming on the board. It is important to know so you can get the most out of your ride and enjoy the waves as long as possible. In the afternoon, the conditions will be very similar, but in the evening the new swell should arrive and we are excited for tomorrow!

Beginner Surf Lessons at Jimbaran

The huge swell has fully arrived overnight and most of the surf spots on the Bukit are way too big to surf today. We decided to go to Jimbaran with our beginner and intermediate groups and it was great! Everyone was happy out there and surfed a lot of waves.

It is a very suitable beach to learn how to surf, but there are not always waves. Only when big swells arrive, this surf spot comes to life, and when it does shoulder-high sets are rolling in very consistently. This makes it a great spot to catch many waves and ride them as long as possible. The slow-breaking peaks are perfect to enjoy the ride and work on your surfing technique.
