Intermediate surf guiding at Geger Left

More quiet-season fun at Geger Left in Nusa Dua this morning! Light offshore winds kept the waves exceptionally clean, with swell coming through at head-high and occasional larger sets. Surfers enjoyed fast, peeling lefts with a few bonus rights to mix things up.

Surfing Geger Left is all about smart wave selection—you need to spot waves with a clear peak and a nicely tapered wall, or they’ll quickly outrun you. Choose wisely, and you’re rewarded with a smooth wall offering two or three solid turn sections.

Intermediate surf guiding at Uluwatu

Another beautiful morning in the world’s premier surfing holiday destination. With the dropping swell, our crew slipped down to the most exposed end of Uluwatu for some fun left reef break waves. The biggest of the set waves were up to head-high. The wind was blowing light offshore, and the waves were very clean. The waves broke with a nice blend of fast and slow sections, which is perfect for doing high-speed turns.

A powerful swell is on its way to Bali. Tomorrow morning will see overhead surf, building to well-overhead by sundown. See you out there!

Intermediate surf guiding at Uluwatu

Another incredible day of waves in Uluwatu! It may be early March but it may as well be June with the conditions we are having! The surfers enjoyed overhead set waves and offshore wind at Bali’s premier wave. The waves were breaking in beautiful long lines down the reef. The surfers worked on angling their takeoff’s, getting to their feet quickly, and moving down the line to stay ahead of the wave.

The wet season, which made a very wet arrival in November, seems to have run out of steam early, leaving us with incredible weather and waves.

Intermediate surf guiding at Black Stone

The tropical system that drenched the island has moved on, leaving behind sunshine, offshore winds, and plenty of energy in the lineup. The surf was head-high, with occasional larger sets. Stiff offshore winds groomed the waves into clean, tapered left walls, offering plenty of speed for solid turns before closing out.

With great weather ahead, we’ll be chasing waves at our favourite breaks over the next few days. Stay tuned for more updates and fresh content from Bali’s best surf spots!

Intermediate Surf Guiding At Green Bowl

With a small swell and clean conditions, our intermediate surfers headed to the scenic reef break at Greenbowl. They were greeted by a stunning morning, with an offshore breeze and a calm, clear ocean. The swell had eased since yesterday, offering shoulder-high waves that provided clean, organized right-handers with fun turn sections.

When the swell drops, Bali’s south coast breaks are ideal. They pick up lots of swell and feature well-shaped reefs, making for excellent tropical surf sessions. Greenbowl was the perfect choice today for those seeking quality waves in beautiful conditions.

Intermediate surf guiding at Geger Left

Great waves at Geger Left this morning! The swell has dropped in size since yesterday, but there were still plenty of fun waves at the more exposed breaks. The wind was blowing steady offshore, and the surf was mostly in the shoulder-high range with a few bigger sets. The waves broke in fast, tapered lines, requiring the surfers to pop up and get going down the line quickly.

Geger Left is a great wave on smaller wet season days like today. One of the various peaks will nearly always have a wave, and you can count on it being offshore or about to turn offshore.

Intermediate surf guiding at Geger Left

Our intermediate surfers paddled out to Geger Left this morning, where they found shoulder-high waves and fun conditions. The wind was light offshore, with a bit of texture left in the lineup from some early morning weather. The surfers picked off some fun left peaks, which were breaking at an easy pace with nicely formed tapered walls. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed surfing a new break.

The three peaks that makeup Geger Left are a great choice when the wind and rain come from the west. The is a very consistent wave in the wet season, and the wind blows offshore nearly every morning.

Intermediate Surf Lessons at Sri Lanka

Very fun surfing and beautiful conditions this morning at Sri Lanka! With just a bit too much wind from the west for surfing in the Uluwatu area and plenty of swell, we packed up the car and set off for Nusa Dua’s best wave. Sri Lanka delivered clean, long, head-high waves with a gentle offshore breeze. The rides were a blast, the lineup was mellow, and the stoke was high all around.

Sri Lanka is one of the best rights in Bali. On its day, it lines up for lengthy, below-sea-level rides offering plenty of tube time. On days like today, it’s much more user-friendly yet still runs for ages down the reef.

Intermediate Surf Guiding at Dreamland

Dreamland delivered another excellent session this morning with clean, overhead waves breaking in well-organized lefts and rights. Light, variable winds and smooth ocean conditions set the stage for our intermediate surfers to challenge themselves and build confidence in the overhead surf. Dreamland’s A-frame peaks provide a forgiving setup, as the waves break with a slower, manageable pace down the line, even as the size increases.

For surfers looking to step up from Padang Padang, Dreamland is an ideal next spot. It hosts a variety of wave options catering to those ready to advance their skills while still maintaining a user-friendly experience.
