Intermediate surf guiding at Toro Toro

Toro-Toro was great this morning! We arrived just after sunrise and got in the water with nobody else out there. Glassy conditions with shoulder-high sets coming in consistently. The sunny weather and the amazing waves made everyone happy.

Because of how the waves are breaking, it is the perfect spot to practice basic maneuvers like bottom and top turns. The A-frame provides right and left-handers where you can do plenty of turns. It is a surf break suitable for a wide range of surfing skills, from intermediate to advanced surfers, everyone can have a fun and progressive session here.

Beginner Surf Lessons at Padang Padang

The surf at Padang Padang was great this morning with glassy conditions due to almost no wind. When surfing perfectly shaped and glassy waves, the feeling is amazing. It is almost as if you would be surfing on a cloud. A feeling you don’t get anywhere else.

The swell is still big and the conditions are a little more challenging than usual for our beginner surfers. Nevertheless, with our professional surf instructors, everyone stays safe in the water and will have a good time and when you catch waves it is even more exciting. We expect the swell to pick up a little tomorrow before it goes smaller at the beginning of next week.

Intermediate surf guiding at Balangan

Balangan did not disappoint as usual. We surfed shoulder-high, great waves all morning long. The moderate offshore wind helped the waves to stay open nicely and everyone had long, clean rides. Perfect conditions for our intermediate group to practice turns and generate speed.

This surf spot works best when the swell comes from the south. The more south, the better it gets, because the waves peel along the reef nicely and stay open much longer. Combined with the offshore wind conditions between July and September, it is one of the best and most consistent breaks in Bali. If you haven’t yet, we highly recommend coming here to enjoy the waves and beautiful beach!

Beginner Surf Lessons at Padang Padang

The waves were amazing this morning at Padang Padang! Long, clean right-handers and only a few other people out. It wasn’t big but the sets had enough power and due to the mid-tide, the waves were breaking in a perfect shape.

Today and tomorrow, the swell stays pretty much the same size, but from Thursday, we expect the new swell to arrive and Uluwatu and Padang Padang will be on fire. Other spots like Toro Toro or Airport Rights will be our go-to places for our advanced groups and Jimbaran for our beginner and intermediate surfers. No matter if small or big waves, low or high tide, we also find the right spot for your surfing level.

Intermediate surf guiding at Uluwatu

What a great start to the day this was at Uluwatu! Shoulder-high, clean waves, and just a few people out, this is what made everyone happy. It was fun at the racetracks section due to the lower tide. It is not an easy wave to surf, because the waves can be quite fast.

It is important to know how to generate speed down the line to be able to surf this wave. When the size of the waves is like today, it is perfect for intermediate surfers. With practice and guidance, you will be able to generate speed in no time. This is a basic skill everyone has to master, especially here in Uluwatu. No matter if you surf a shortboard or longboard, it’s a wave for everyone who likes to take on a new challenge.

Advanced surf guiding at Uluwatu

Our advanced group had a great session today at Uluwatu! Clean, long left-handers were breaking consistently and the tide was just right. Most surfers went early in the morning today, but we chose to do our second session at Uluwatu just before lunchtime.

This way we were able to be in the water with fewer other people and had the chance to catch more waves. Just make sure you put enough sunblock on when you go around this time. The conditions are great all day long, but often, during this time it is less busy as most people surf in the morning and evening. When you know where and when to go, amazing waves can be found every day.
