Intermediate surf lessons at Uluwatu

With small conditions in Bali at the moment, swell magnet Uluwatu is the only show in town. The tide was right for a leisurely 9am start, perfect Sunday fun day surfing. With low winds and still very little crowd density here in Uluwatu, Surf coach Koki got our intermediate standard guest A into some of the best  waves and the guest are so happy and enjoy the surf this morning at Uluwatu Beach

Advanced Surf guiding at Bingin

This morning we went to bingin, a mechanical left hander, and one of the best surf breaks in the world. Perfect size for bingin and very consistent waves. Pandemic crowds – just a handful of tourists were surfing his morning, while we had bingin legend Richie to help us. Bingin is perfectly suited for advanced/intermediate+ surfers, wanting to build confidence on a fast barrelling reef break.

Advanced surf guiding at Impossibles

Perfect size at impossibles this morning, if you didn’t mind taking the bigger sets on the head! Just a handful of guys out and some leg achingly long rides to be had. As always with impossibles, wave selection and positioning is key. Many close outs, but you only need to get a couple of long rides to have an excellent session. Swell is a touch smaller than yesterday but there were 10 wave sets and needed to be careful not to get swept inside.

The swell is still consistent, the tide was perfect and we really enjoyed our session with only 3 people in the water.

Advanced Surf Guiding at Padang Padang

Swell is pumping here today and barrels galore at Padang Padang, the premium barreling wave, also known as the Balinese pipeline. Just 10 people out is incredible for this wave as normally packed with local and traveling surfers. Very very consistent waves today and more than enough barrels for everyone.

Advanced Surf Guiding at Impossible

Perfect clean overhead conditions this morning for our advanced group at the legendary Impossible. The waves today offered super long fast rides with occasional cover ups. The effort to get up early was well rewarded. The condition of impossible aren’t easy, but when the condition are right, Impossible is one of the most perfect wave in the area. A massive swell at low tides produces big clean barrels for the brave, with consistent swell – like today – is a great improver spot for learning to pop up fast and pumping.
