Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Pandawa, Bali

Our intermediate and advanced group headed to Pandawa this morning which had some good conditions with waist to head high waves.

With a few nice barrels to be found, the inside had some nice waves for the intermediate group too.

By the end of the session the South wind had come, giving it some bump. So we head back for some delicious poke bowl lunch.

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

The wind wasn’t as strong as expected this morning so our intermediate and advanced group headed the short distance back to Uluwatu for the first session of the day
Waves were a little bumpy and breaking in the waist to chest-high range but everybody had lots of fun on all shapes and sizes of board.

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu,Bali

Our intermediate and advanced surf guiding group were lucky enough to score some extremely good conditions this morning at Uluwatu.

With it being a southerly swell, wave size wasn’t as big as it would have been with a more direct swell direction and this was resulting in plenty of glassy waves around head high for everyone to enjoy

With the wind swinging around overnight, it looks like we’ll be heading for the other side of the Bukit tomorrow so check back and see what we get up to.

Advanced Surf Guiding at Pandawa, Bali

Conditions in our local area were a little small for the advanced guiding group this morning so they headed to Padawa on the south coast of the Bukit.

Waves were nice and clean with just a small amount of texture on the surface and breaking solidly in the head high to double over-head range.

With a reasonable crowd of surfers in the water it was quite different from Pandawa’s former days as a semi-secret spot but with a good amount of swell in the water there were still plenty of waves for everyone to get their fill.

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Our intermediate and advanced surf guiding group were back at Uluwatu again this morning where conditions were a little bumpy but windless and glassy.

Waves were breaking between chest and head high with the occasional bigger set. The group returned to Uluwatu for the second session in the early afternoon where swell was a little smaller but even cleaner and practically empty.

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Today’s report comes from the early afternoon session at Uluwatu where our intermediate and advanced surfers were taking advantage of light winds to get a session in at one of the breaks in the local area

Waves were bumpy and far from perfect but a less than ideal surf is always better than no surf at all!

We’re expecting tomorrow’s wind to be too strong for a local session so it’s likely that we’ll head for the shelter of the south/south-east facing beaches of the Bukit

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Our intermediate and advanced groups returned to Uluwatu for another early morning session today where they were greeted with beautiful weather, clean waves and relatively other surfers in the water.

Waves were breaking in the shoulder to head high range with light offshore winds, and which kept the waves very clean and there were plenty of long glassy waves for everyone to enjoy this sunrise session.

Advanced Surf Guiding at Pandawa, Bali

With bumpy conditions and the last of the remaining swell not offering much at our local breaks, we ventured to Pandawa on the the south coast of the Bukit Peninsular this morning.

Waves were quite clean and breaking with some power between head-high and a little overhead so it was certainly a session for the advanced surfers.

After a rainy morning with variable winds, the sun came out and the waves cleaned up nicely for the second session at Uluwatu.

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Balian, Bali

PPSC were on the road today as we travelled to the west coast of Bali to surf at Balian this morning

Although the water isn’t quite as picturesque as the blues of our local reef breaks, conditions were very clean, breaking left and right between chest and head-high, and there were only a few other surfers in the water.

With onshore conditions predicted locally again tomorrow, we’re going to stay the night to hopefully score some more clean uncrowded waves tomorrow.
