Bali Surf Lesson Reports

Great waves have been surfed today and our beginner group had a blast out at Padang-Padang. The incoming sets were shoulder to head high and broke very gently over the beautiful reef. Perfect to start catching the first green waves on your own.

With the Padang-Padang cup around the corner, many surfers make their way to the Bukit. A massive swell is expected to come on Thursday and the contest could potentially be on. It surely will be too big for us to surf at Padang-Padang, but watching the local and international pro surfers getting barreled is also a great experience. Don’t miss out on this spectacular event!

Another great session at Padang-Padang went down this morning. Plenty of waves have been surfed and many improvements have been made by our students. The photo review the day before had a positive impact on the performance in the water.

Surfing is one of these sports where you constantly get better if you do it regularly. You will never stop learning new things and improving your wave reading skills and surfing techniques. This is why it never gets old or boring. Every session can get you closer to your goals and you never exactly know what will happen. You might get the wave of your life or see amazing wildlife in the ocean. You never know until you go!

What a lovely day so far! We have already two surf sessions behind us and a very helpful photo review to identify where improvements can be made. Padang-Padang is perfect for learning the basics and focusing on surf techniques.

The waves give you enough time to think about the next step and won’t throw you off the board immediately. This helps immensely to improve pop-up, foot positioning, and balance on the surfboard. In the photos, you can clearly see what went well and where you can improve. Our professional surf instructors point out issues to focus on in the next session so that you can get the most out of the surf lessons.

In Bali, every day you can try and experience something new and exciting. Surfing should be on top of your list if it isn’t already! It is super fun and a great way to exercise. Not only that, but it is also a way to connect with the nature around you.

The new swell has not fully arrived yet this morning. This gave our beginner group the chance to enjoy our home spot Padang-Padang one more time before it gets too big. Glassy conditions, long waves, and not too many people made everybody happy.

When you start surfing, you want to try on a safe and easy spot first. Get used to the new element you are in, the equipment, and the techniques. Baby-Padang is perfect for that. It provides a safe and fun environment to enjoy your first surfing experience. Although surfing might look easy, learning with one of our professional surf instructors is highly recommended!

What a wonderful morning session it was today! The clear sky, clear water, and perfect waves made our start to the day special. Great waves were surfed from our students and everyone finished the session with a smile on their faces.

The incoming sets had the perfect size to get a bit more comfortable surfing more powerful waves. There is a very big swell coming on Tuesday, but until then we will enjoy the waves around Uluwatu. When the new swell hits we will go to spots like Toro-Toro, Jimbaran, and Honeymoon again to avoid the massive waves.

What is the best age to start surfing? The earlier the better we say! Padang-Padang is perfect for children to have their first surfing experience. The small, gentle waves are rolling in perfectly and the big channel makes it easy to get back out to the waves.

Safety first is our highest priority when it comes to teaching the young ones. Professional surf instructors help to catch waves and stay safe in the water. On days like today, with sunny weather and blue water, surfing with family and friends is one of the best and most fun activities you can do in your holidays. Another sunny day in paradise with great waves and crystal clear water. It is hard not to be amazed by the white sand beaches and breathtaking nature surrounding them. Surfing in such places really feels special.

Padang-Padang is definitely one of those places where you don’t want to leave too quickly. After a great surf session, you can enjoy the beach with an ice-cold coconut and relax. Watching the monkeys play around is always good fun too. It’s a great beach to surf, swim or just hang out with friends and family.
