Geger Left Surf Spot Info, Report and Forecast

Our red and purple group headed to Geger Left again for a morning session.

The tide was still too low when we arrived so we waited for it to fill up and it was worth it.

The waves were mostly waist to shoulder high but some of the sets were up to head high.  For the first 30 minutes the wind was on the channel and the right elevator were breaking, but as it got later the waves got better and cleaner.

As today is mother’s day in Indonesia, we encourage you guys who’s reading this to go out and surf with your momma’s and have fun!

Our red and purple group were at Geger Left this morning, as predicted conditions were the same as yesterday but smaller.

Waves were breaking waist to shoulder high with some rare overhead sets and fresh offshore wind.

The crowd was more that it was yesterday but everyone seemed to have their share and looked happy which what surfing is all about!

Geger left also known as pura geger beach was a go to this morning since all the other spots in the bukit peninsula were howling with wind.

Waves were knee to waist high with fresh offshore wind, very suitable for intermediate and beginner’s surfing lesson.

It’s expected that tomorrow will have the same conditions as today.

With the south-westerly winds overnight continuing into the morning as expected, our usual playground of the Bukit’s west coast was not suitable today so we headed east.

Geger Left was the spot of choice for the intermediate and advanced surfers and it was our first time back at the surf spot since our last session in February.

Waves were a little bumpy but very clean and breaking between chest and head high.

Swell size had dropped overnight but there were still plenty of waves on offer for both intermediates and beginners as our two groups headed back to Geger Left again this morning for their group and semi-private surfing lessons.

Waves were breaking in the knee to shoulder-high range and were very clean on what was a beautiful, uncrowded sunny morning of ‘wet-season’ waves here in paradise.

In a change to our original schedule, Geger Left in Nusa Dua was the spot of choice this morning for our beginner and intermediate groups’ first sessions of the day.

We had group, semi-private and private lessons all taking place this morning and everybody enjoyed the clean, uncrowded waves that were breaking between knee and waist high.

The westerly wet-season winds returned this morning so our intermediate group made the trip to Geger Left for their first session of surfing lessons this morning.

Waves weren’t as big as yesterday and a fair number were sectioning or closing out, but it was still very clean and everybody enjoyed plenty of rides.

For their second session, the group will be surfing at Mushroom Rock in Nusa Dua where they’ll join up with our beginner group who surfed their first session next door at Black Stone.

The intermediate surfing group went for a sunny morning session to Geger. Conditions were glassy with very light wind and a small swell. The waves were about hip to shoulder high and consistent.

Another day with breakfast out in the east to get back into the water for a second session at Nusa Dua.
