Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu

Today our advanced group made the short trip to Uluwatu where they were greeted by less than perfect conditions – however, this is Bali and there was enough swell to make up for the onshore winds. Hopefully this is the final hurrah of the wet season and we’re expecting nothing but offshore winds for the next 7+ months! The sets were head high plus and there was enough quality in the waves that everyone had fun. The lineup was quiet and there were plenty of waves to go round and for our advanced surfers to practice their maneuvers.

Intermediate Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Today’s swell were pretty small but our intermediate group decided to surf Uluwatu and see if they’re lucky after the constant rain these past few days.

Luckily enough, some waves were breaking although it took patience.

The waves were breaking waist to shoulder high with some bumps a long the way.

The wind turned onshore as it hit midday so might be better later afternoon.

Intermediate Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

The swell has picked up since yesterday and the waves were breaking beautifully.

After days raining up in the bukit area, today has been sunny and bright.

Waves were breaking waist to shoulder high and the occasional overhead barrels.

The wind was offshore during our morning session but as it hit midday it turned windy onshore

Intermediate Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Merry Christmas! Today’s adventure was Uluwatu! After days being onshore, this morning’s wave was perfect.

Some waves were breaking waist high but mostly shoulder to over head high.

Although the big rain this morning, today’s weather has cleared since and Christmas day will filled with blue skies and shining sun.

New west pulse tomorrow, hopefully Uluwatu will be great again.

Wishing everyone a happy day, don’t forget to get your Vitamin Sea today!

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Our intermediate and advanced group headed to Uluwatu for a dawn session today.

Waves were bigger than yesterday, quite clean and breaking between shoulder-high and a little overhead.

With fewer than ten surfers in the water there were plenty of long glassy waves for everyone to enjoy this sunrise session.

Intermediate Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

While one half of PPSC headed to Pandawa, our intermediate group went back to Uluwatu for a quick afternoon session today where the waves were waist to shoulder high with a slight onshore breeze.

There were not many people out there which made today’s session very enjoyable. Tomorrow is expected to have similar conditions with hopefully a more favourable wind.

Intermediate and Advanced Surf Guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Our intermediate and advanced surf guiding group were back at the local spot Ulus this morning.

Waves were breaking between waist to head high with the occasional bigger set. It wasn’t too windy but just enough for some of the crowd to land their airs, which were definitely a sight to see.
