Toro Toro Surf Spot Info, Report and Forecast

Our advanced surf guiding and intermediate surf lessons groups headed back to Toro Toro this morning where they located themselves by ability level. The advanced group surfed the main wave on the outside and the intermediates enjoyed the friendlier waves on the inside.

Light onshore winds resulted in a small amount of chop in the water but conditions were still very clean and everyone had a great session. Our surfers refuelled at camp for breakfast before heading back out for their second sessions of the day to Dreamland and Padang Padang.

After lunch today, our guests will be treated to a free workshop on freediving and breath-hold training by Shane Tierney, a Master Freedive and Survival Apnea Instructor.

This morning our intermediate and advanced groups jumped in the boat at Jimbaran bay and headed out the short distance to Toro Toro.

The waves were coming through at a nice size but not as consistently as we would have liked, so our expert surf guides made the call for the advanced group to move over to the higher-performance waves of Airport Lefts — ensuring all our guests had the opportunity to surf the waves best-suited to their abilities.

Everybody had a great session with some particularly long rides and a great time was had by all.

Today both of our advanced and intermediate groups headed to Toro Toro to enjoy another great surf session there. Our intermediate learners had an opportunity while having surf lessons to observe our more experienced surfers and learn from them as well. Conditions are nice today, with light offshore wind. Swell size is a bit smaller than yesterday, so waves are shoulder high to head high.

This morning our beginners group headed to Toro Toro for surf lessons and they surfed inside of the spot. The recent swell is fading but still big and we need to look for more sheltered spots for beginners surf lessons.  Unlike many other spots Toro Toro mostly has a right-handed wave. Good conditions this morning, fresh cross shore wind and waist high to chest high waves.

Today is Toro Toro  day for our surfers. All of our advanced, intermediate and beginners group headed there to enjoy another great surf session. Advanced and intermediate group surfed outside of the spot and beginners learned to surf inside of Toro Toro  this morning. Clean and mellow conditions with gentle offshore breeze. The swell is still smaller so waves in the outside section were shoulder high to head high and chest high to shoulder on sets in the inside section of the spot. It is so fun to surf all together!
